Little Miss Washington Pageant

Moses Lake High School Theater
Little Miss Washington Pageant is a non-profit all natural beauty pageant. Make-up is not allowed. 100% of proceeds will go to the Moses Lake Food Bank.
The pageant helps provide guidance and assistance to young girls in developing their self confidence and self esteem while educating them about charitable and community service. Children are encouraged with their parent's to show support for people who are in need and how they can make the world a better place. All they need is a big heart. Our mission is to inspire and encourage children to realize it is within their reach to help in their communities.
There are three age divisions for the
"All Natural" Pageant
Mini Miss Washington ages 4 - 6
Little Miss Washington ages 7 - 9
Petite Miss Washington ages 10 - 11
The winner in each group will receive $100, a t-shirt sash and crown. All other children will receive a t-shirt and misc. pageant gifts.
Every child will wear a party dress, walk on stage, and show her great personality and talent.
The winner of each category will perform at the televised Mrs. Washington Pageant. Date to be announced.
Judging will be based on overall appearance, personality and talent. No make-up will be allowed.
Entrance fee: $100 100% of proceeds will go to the Moses Lake Food Bank. Please mail check or money order by the due date to be announed. All applications without a check will be returned. Please mail to:

Talent Competition:
90 seconds or less. It can be a musical instrument, dance, vocal, reading, demonstration, poem, comedian, etc. and children can wear a costume. All props must be checked in at registration. There will be stage hands to help with props. No parent is allowed back stage or on stage for any reason.
Back up Music:
Please mail us your performance CD no later than four weeks in advance which WILL NOT be returned. You will not be allowed to bring a replacement performance CD to the pageant. It must be mailed to the office by the due date.
On Stage Interview:
Each child will be escorted on stage by a Pageant Assistant. She will walk on stage to the middle, to the left and then to stage right where the MC will ask the contestant a question. The on stage question comes from the contestant's application.
On Stage Dress Attire : All childen need to wear a holiday dress, sunday best, flower girl dress or dressy clothes for the onstage interview. No glitzy clothing or make-up.
NO PARENTS BACK STAGE
At no time will there ever be a parent back stage for any reason. All parents, family and friends must be in the audience.
Watching the Pageant.
When the pageanst starts you will not be allowed to go in and out of the theater doors. It's extremely distracting and interfers with the tv production. There will be designated doors to enter and exit.
Dressing Room:
Only one parent is allowed in the dressing room to help the child to prepare.
This is an "all natural" pageant.
